A note of encouragement

There are times that you feel forgotten, like everyone around you has their lives working and all figured out. You feel alone and lonely. You ask the Lord “Until when Lord?” But the Lord wants you to be free, happier and even successful more than you want it for yourself. You are never alone as long as you are His child.

*Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV
‘“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.’

*Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’

You see? He is working behind the scenes to get you free. Granted, there are some things that fall off immediately right after you accept Him as your Lord and Savior and start living a surrendered life to Him. But some things will take a while to be delivered from. Someone said- you are 30 years old, you have lived majority of your life in sin and you expect to be delivered in one day? Yes, we need to look at our lives and situations from a point of victory because our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to remove our sins, shame, guilt, curses, bondages, illnesses and infirmities amongst other things, but some of these things are deeply rooted in our blood line. As He is working on these things, He is also building a relationship with you. Allowing you to trust in Him as He also trusts you. So we are not without hope. He is our hope of glory, He is faithful and will do what He has promised to do. Remember, our books of life are already written, nothing catches Him by surprise. He knew before He formed you in your mother’s womb that you would get to this point and He had it all planned out and figured out. We have to allow Him to work on us and on the situation. Be patient and remain obedient, walking in His ways and you will be surprised. You will look back one day soon and realize that the thing that used to torment you no longer torments you. The thing that you used to struggle with, no longer exists. He is a Man of integrity, this I know. Hold onto your faith and trust Him. He will NEVER let you down. He loves you more than anything, you are His favorite creation. Be encouraged and encourage yourself in the Lord. Happy holidays and be blessed❤.
